It discusses other projects, like Jeckyll and Doctor Who, and makes fair points about the circumstances that seem to get the best out of Moffat ( as well as why the lack of those circumstances leads to utter crap.)

At this point it seems its haters are more obsessed. People who watched and like this show obsess over it for like a month or so after they watch it, as is natural, the post watch high.

Those who hate it seem to spend months being butthurt. Contrarianism is a full time job apparently. Gotta take every opportunity to hate the thing others like so you can declare yourself above it all. You guys are boring.

That's what a hater is, someone who is obsessed with hating on something. And shooting a video like that requires at leas a small degree of obsession.

Really? It reads more like disappointment to me. He clearly loves Sherlock Holmes, and thinks Moffat can actually write some good stuff under the right circumstances. I feel the same way - Sherlock had elements of brilliant potential (plus an excellent cast), but it buckled under the weight of its spurious cleverness. And also, is it really 'shitting' on something when you are analyzing it critically?

It's unlikely ayrt actually watched the video. My guess is they're one of those people who interpret any criticism of a thing as "hate", and then go around ranting about all the people who exhibit "hate" by not loving that thing.

I love this video and Hbomb in general. I laughed for about thee minutes straight when he explained the plot of Jeckyll. Also I haven't bothered with season 4, so hearing about that insanity was a trip.

i actually enjoyed what i saw of sherlock (didn't watch the last season and as far as i understand that's a bullet dodged?), but i by no means think it is a good show. i was surprised to find that what i dislike about the show did not feature in that video at all! i haven't read any of the sherlock novels so that might be related.
seems there are a lot of things to hate about this show!

I, too, dislike things. I dropped this show in disgust after the second season. Doesn't mean I feel the need to go around preaching about everything that's wrong with it, years after it became a laughingstock.
