It's seeping into the rest of fandom now as well tbh, anything that's not pure and twee is Not To Be Shipped and I even like cute, happy ships but I'm not about to stop people from enjoying fucked up ships if they want.

It's really getting on my nerves too. I mean fandom used to have shipwars but people didn't make a morality issue out of it.

Shipwars got nasty back in the day I won't pretend they didn't, but for the most part people were just flinging dumb insults at one another, now you have all sort of moral posturing going on as if what you ship says anything about you as a person.

It's fucking stupid.
