Makes me sad a grown man would post that on Twitter.

(Anonymous) 2017-06-29 10:48 pm (UTC)(link)
why

(Anonymous) 2017-06-30 07:07 am (UTC)(link)
Because it's just pathetic. "Oh boo hoo, we're not friends anymore. I see how it is." On a fucking public platform. It's just sad.

(Anonymous) 2017-06-30 03:23 pm (UTC)(link)
NAYRT but someone who also feels sad at seeing a grown person posting those tweets:

It gives me the impression he has no one else to vent this to. The fact that an adult has no personal friends to turn to when trying to deal with not being invited to the wedding of someone they considered a friend just looks really... sad.

(Anonymous) 2017-06-30 10:31 pm (UTC)(link)
As someone who basically has no friends to vent to when shit happens, I agree.

But that does not make it in any way okay to post something like that on a public site.

(Anonymous) 2017-06-29 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Came here to say something similar. So tacky.

(Anonymous) 2017-06-29 10:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah how dare he be sad that someone he thought was a close friend did not in fact turn out to care as much about their friendship as he did.

(Anonymous) 2017-06-29 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)
DA

No you twit, it's fine to be sad, or to talk about your feelings to the people around you, but to post it on a public Twitter account with a lot of followers, there's definitely some agenda there. Like he wants his followers to dislike the guy just for drifting away and validate his feelings that his old friend was really a jerk. He just sounds so butthurt and petty about it. I've had plenty of great friends drift away over the years and I never posted tacky shit like this about them everywhere.

(Anonymous) 2017-06-29 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Yup. There's a place for that kind of situation....and social media isn't it. Significantly less so when your account is that public.

(Anonymous) 2017-06-29 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
i mean, lashing out because you're hurt is a very human thing and i don't see the big deal. yeah, obviously he wants to be validated, but don't we all?

(Anonymous) 2017-06-29 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Right? And if he wasn't 'famous' (I use quotes because I have no idea who the fuck he is), he'd be allowed to put it on Twitter because no one would care, right?

(Anonymous) 2017-06-29 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
relying on your fans for emotional validation is one of the worst ways to go about it

(Anonymous) 2017-06-30 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
SA

Didn't say it was a big deal, and yeah, I understand the need to be validated. The point originally made was that it's tacky. And it is.

And when you're a celebrity you have to take even more responsibility to not drag personal tensions out into the public, especially when it's not like you should depend on the support of strangers on the internet.

Sadly, it's an epidemic.

I understand why he's hurt, but airing shit all over the internet never made stuff like that better.

(Anonymous) 2017-06-29 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)
MTE. It's one thing to talk about your feelings to your friends and family, but to post it on a twitter account where many random people are following him is tacky as hell. Like, what does he want, people to go attack him or dislike him for not being his friend anymore? Friends drift away sometimes, it doesn't make anyone a bad person.

I have some bad news about America, then

(Anonymous) 2017-06-30 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
LOLOLOL. So, so true.

(Anonymous) 2017-06-30 07:16 am (UTC)(link)
Believe me most of us are ashamed and want to be blown off the map.

(Anonymous) 2017-06-30 11:24 am (UTC)(link)
You don't speak for "most of us."

(Anonymous) 2017-06-30 05:03 pm (UTC)(link)
ashamed, maybe, "want to be blown off the map", ehhhh...I know you're being hyperbolic but nah
