Not deliberately, but due to allergies I've cut out about 85% of prepackaged food and make things from scratch. The biggest thing I've noticed is I am so much more sensitive to sweet now. A lot of sweet things are way too sweet. I can handle dark chocolate ice cream, but not vanilla. I make homemade ketchup, and last time I tried store bought it tasted like sweet tomato syrup.

I still enjoy my sweet treats, but they're a lot less sweet than they used to be.

Also adding on, I am not sure if I am the best person to discuss because other than being mostly-vegetarian I eat lots of carbs, refined carbs, and fat. Veggies too, veggies are delicious, but I eat a lot of 'unhealthy' stuff like mayo filled pasta salad. And I'm constantly struggling to keep my weight in the triple digits.
