Default replacements, good cc, and custom sliders (for sims 3) make all the difference in the world. Granted some people photoshop the hell out of their sims giving a false impression as to what's possible and false advertising but it's totally possible to have sims look like that.

Even going as far back as sims 2 you had some pretty good looking sims.

This isn't about good looking sims. This is about sims that repeatedly look like the modelist of models and are only seen standing around smouldering instead of doing anything like a normal sim. I love CC and all that sort of stuff but there's customizing and there's just...well, like the pictures I used.

But you wrote in your secret that "nobody's sims look like this..." and that's patently untrue. With the right accoutrement, they could look like this. Not all the time, but when they're standing still, and that's good enough for a screenshot. Are you complaining that people only take screenshots like this instead of more expressive ones? I would assume that cc makers prefer less expressive screenshots because they show off the custom contents more.
