I think I'm up to the latest Season...But while the plot does get a little involved (be honest, it was involved to begin with) I think they do a good job of

1) still following the first clones closely
2) integrating the newer clones
3) keeping the original sisterhood together

Which was part of what I cared about. The newer clones are kind of subplots, but I would say the main clones are the ones that are still central characters.

Also, I find Neolution to be an interesting part of the plot because of what it becomes as the show goes on. Project Castor I kind of don't care about, but I'd argue it doesn't delve in as much as it does on Leda. They paint Castor as what it is. Few defectors. Not like the girls.

Neolution has been part of the plot since nearly they beginning of the show, so I'm curious how you could be invested yet not give a shit.

That said, it does feel like they started to make things more convoluted for the sake of "we need to keep this going for another season somehow" and I'm not heartbroken that this season is the last.

Even the number of main clones I care about is dwindling bc god am I sick of seeing them in the same situations over and over (Cosima trying to take Neolution/Dyad/whatever down from the inside while Delphine's off being ambiguous, Alison in suburban hell, everyone questioning whether or not they can trust Rachel). So much has happened on this show but it doesn't feel that way bc the characters are in the same roles they've always been.

i feel like many people who watch this show feel this way tbh. after a while i just decided to roll with it because i could not remember for the life of me what had happened in previous seasons when starting the new ones lmao

for what is worth, season 5 is its last season so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and they seem to be trying to wrap up some things...
