I used to stop at a produce stand in SC that had tubs of peach and of strawberry ice cream and the ingredients list was literally just cream, sugar, and fruit pieces. They were the best thing ever. I went back a few years ago and they were just like cheap supermarket ice cream with stabilizers and natural flavor chemical concoctions instead of fruit. I was heartbroken.

Currently I'm a big fan of Ben and Jerry's Non-Dairy Chocolate Fudge Brownie. I'm kinda lactose intolerant and it doesn't upset my stomach. It's not quite as creamy and rich feeling as dairy ice cream, but the flavor's good and the tradeoff's worth it.
