Since it's come to my attention that certain communities have been purposely posting troll secrets for the lulz, I'm going to start getting harsher on what counts as a non-troll secret, especially regarding the fandom involved.
ETA2: No, this isn't only SPN fandom. This goes for everyone else, too.

(Anonymous) 2008-06-02 12:27 am (UTC)(link)The ways you've suggested of getting around this problem, however, don't seem like they're going to work, um, at all. (Even if you require an additional post to verify that a secret is not a troll, it doesn't prevent trolls from claiming to be real.) If you can think of some way to actually get around this problem, more power to you, but it seems pretty inevitable to me.
