Since it's come to my attention that certain communities have been purposely posting troll secrets for the lulz, I'm going to start getting harsher on what counts as a non-troll secret, especially regarding the fandom involved.

ETA2: No, this isn't only SPN fandom. This goes for everyone else, too.

Yeah. The wank is something that most people come here for, and if you don't want to join the wank, you don't comment or read the comments. I hardly ever read the comments unless I just am dying to see a continuation of the discussion. I don't give a shit what other people think about the secrets, it's the secrets themselves (even wanky ones) that amuse me. I say let the comm do what it wants.

If you're "trolling" f!s, I don't see how that's any different from how we usually are. If people are so immature that they rise to any trollbait, that's not my problem. I've never understood whining over other people in fandom. If you don't like it, don't read it/watch it--it's all cockwaving when you start caring about other people's enjoyment of stuff you hate or them hating what you enjoy. [rolls eyes] And most of us are over 18, aren't we? How pathetic is that? I mean, really. I come here for the amusement afforded me other people's dark secrets that really don't matter, and if people get into squealing hissyfits over something, I just laugh at that, too. But I'm not going to troll like a 14 year old boy.

Yeah, no shit. I got wank here because someone posted a F!S about a joint fic I am writing with a friend of mine and the threads weren't frozen until a good 50+ comments in multiple times. If they're doing this to eliminate the wank, I'm surprised that secret wasn't listed as a fake one. Or any other that causes discussion. Because, you know, wank from anonymous pussies who comment again and again and again pretending they're many different people are so utterly mature and should be taken so super seriously.
