Since it's come to my attention that certain communities have been purposely posting troll secrets for the lulz, I'm going to start getting harsher on what counts as a non-troll secret, especially regarding the fandom involved.

ETA2: No, this isn't only SPN fandom. This goes for everyone else, too.

I'm just going to throw this out there: consider getting a few more people to assist with 'screening' the submission posts, maybe? It's gotta be hard to judge all fandoms, especially fandoms you aren't familiar with - SPN or not. (I'm not saying this to pick on you in any way. It just seems like it would be hard to judge something when you know nothing about it. For example, I'm only familiar with about a quarter of all the different anime/manga secrets posted every day.)

Actually, I do have a sort of thing like that -- I'm usually in a chat with my friends, and if any secret seems trollish/notsecret/notfandom/etc, I do run it by them. It's not just me being a dictator or something like people seem to think, hahaha. (And they DO override my opinions, it's not like they're just there to agree with me.)

None of them are familiar with SPN, though, and someone else did suggest finding an SPN fan that's familiar with the fandom to run them by, but I don't know any. Know of anyone who wouldn't mind helping?

I could give you a hand. I'm familiar with a LOT of fandoms, though; I might be able to help you out with some others besides SPN, too. I usually only watch these posts for the SPN secrets, and any others that I'm familiar with that pop up once in a while are just an added surprise.

Sure, alright! Are you online/on AIM at around 4 PM EST? That's when I start compiling the posts.

I'm usually at work around that time, but I could probably log onto AIM... although I've never tried AIM at work. (There's a chance it could be blocked there; Yahoo messenger is, although MSN isn't.)

Is there any way you could just shoot me URLs of any 'questionable' ones through e-mail? E-mail would probably work better since I tend to check it obsessively every five minutes. :)
