Since it's come to my attention that certain communities have been purposely posting troll secrets for the lulz, I'm going to start getting harsher on what counts as a non-troll secret, especially regarding the fandom involved.

ETA2: No, this isn't only SPN fandom. This goes for everyone else, too.

Just a heads up.

And apologies in advance if any real secret posters get caught up in this.

Well, I mean, certainly you can, but it wouldn't have any validity to it--unless SPN fandomers have elected you to speak for them and I just missed it--and you'd end up looking like a pretentious asshole for trying.

However, if you're really hell-bent on apologizing, you could certainly start by issuing a personal apology to the members of capslock_spn for generalizing them as "[embarrassing] idiots that just don't know any better." Throw in a few foot-rubs if you're feeling extra-repentant, and we'll see how things go.
