I will always give the gold star of 'Incredibly Stupid Comments on a Fanfic' to the [almost exactly] 500 word comment which was pretty much a detailed outline of what sounded like a very mediocre fanfic, bracketed by "Wow, you're so talented, I wish I could write my dream fanfic... Maybe someone will write it for me! (ʘ‿ʘ✿)"
Like. Really? Holy shit. I could hardly believe my eyes.

Ugh, I HATE comments that are poorly disguised prompts.

Once, I got a comment like that with a truly wacky prompt about the (male) main character obtaining a harem of female characters, and I just sat there thinking, "So you think that I would be the best pick to write this dream fic of yours. Me, the exclusive purveyor of slash and femslash?"

Ha, I've had that.

I wrote a novel length canon compliant piece. This one commenter kept pitching their own AU, and referring me to discussions on reddit or some forum about this idea ( which I had zero interest in.)
