Is it? I mean isn't he under contract not to spoil things? I'm genuinely asking. Aren't something like NDAs?

Has any actor actually been sued for violating an NDA? Genuinely curious.

Google tells me that an extra was sued for 5 mill for spoiling BvS
https://moviepilot.com/posts/2355231

But other than studios threatening spoiler sites, nothing much else.

The article mentions the $5 million penalty, but doesn't state that Warner Bros was suing. (Maybe because all the information was wrong?)

I'm in the Star Wars fandom and we regularly argue about whether Mark Hamill has violated his NDA, and if he had would he get in trouble for it. The NDAs for Star Wars seem to be extra strict, to the point where the announced cast members have joked that they aren't sure they can confirm their involvement. (Personally, I think Mark is a giant troll. But what do I know.)

I'm sure he's not supposed to, but that he's just 'too excited' to not talk about stuff, so they have to actively keep spoilers from him? That's hilarious.
