(Anonymous) 2017-07-22 08:20 am (UTC)(link)so why does having rape fantasies make you responsible for men believing they have the right to women?
Because it's heavily entwined in society. It's mentioned in popular media and general public sex polls. This isn't like enjoying a niche little thing like fandom where you ship two dudes together and write fanfic, this is a popular sentiment. After 50 Shades of Grey exploded, I found it alarmingly common to see dudes use this as an example that the majority of women want to be abused by some Alpha Chad with money and it's only rape if the guy doing the raping is ugly. Surely you're aware of this? Enjoy those fantasies in secret, but for god's sake, be aware that voicing "I looooove rape fantasies~" does endanger real life women and perpetuate a gross societal misconception.

(Anonymous) 2017-07-22 06:39 pm (UTC)(link)I want you to understand how irrational your paranoia is here. Most men do not feel this way. It's not a "popular notion", outside of niches of people that spend all their time on the internet. Please, get out into the real world more, and have real conversations with real people. Most people are shockingly normal.
