I'm a Beatles fan who actually doesn't have any issue against Yoko.

I don't have an issue for her in the "zomg she broke up the band" sense, because the band broke up for a lot of complicated reasons that weren't to do with her, but I do have an issue with her for being a person who knowingly chose to be the affair partner for a married man. Ethical people don't do that kind of thing.

you may think this is irrelevant but John and Cynthia weren't happily married in the first place and I think they would have split up anyway.

To me it is relevant in the sense of it makes John's actions understandable. But it doesn't excuse them. Though I think too much of the blame gets put on Yoko as it usually gets put on the mistress when a man cheats. She wasn't married, he was. He's the one who choose to cheat rather than to end the marriage and then start something new. And yes, I think that is wrong in almost every case. But that's on him.

Well, John also cheated on Yoko, so...

I think it's clear that John himself was largely to blame for John.

aren't we all largely to blame for ourselves?
