Do you have any tips for good lip glosses/post lipsticks where the color still stays on? My experience with drugstore stuff is that either the stuff on my lips is gone within an hour, or it is the matte stuff that makes my dry lips look awful and feels really uncomfortable.

Unfortunately, unless it's labeled "long wearing", it's just going to come off, but Maybelline and Rimmel both make long-wearing lipsticks that hold up well. For dry lips, you can make a sugar scrub with a little olive oil and brown sugar, the sugar gently exfoliates and the oil hydrates. Apply before bedtime with a finger tip, in a gentle circling motion, then rinse off and apply a good lip balm.
