This has nothing to do with misandry. The sign underneath in the original episode said "Don't forget, you're here forever", which Homer covered up with pictures of his daughter so it looked like it said "Do it for her" instead. When you change the word to him, the sign would have to say "Don't forget, you're him forever" which is bizarre and nonsensical.

Well, but wouldn't that fit?

I mean, it's Doctor Who, which is bizarre and nonsensical, but also, isn't the Doctor all of the incarnations of the Doctor? Isn't the Doctor him forever, in a sense?

Uh, no. You're not allowed to refer to the Doctor as "he/him" anymore, it's "they/them".
