It's weird, because I really hated their relationship for the first 7 seasons, but they somehow sold me on it in s8

I don't even like either character that much on their own

For me I hated them together even into season 8, but for some reason in season 9 (yes the season a lot of people hate) it didn't really bother me that they were married and about to have a kid, like they seemed fine once they were permanently together.

But I still hate that the early seasons essentially told us they weren't compatible only for them to end up being endgame, it felt like a cop out.

Yeah it's a set of tropes and character things that is just always 100% bad. Will They Or Won't They should be banned.
