I want LOTR and the Hobbit remade but it's not going to happen.

I would be truer to the book. I don't mean in the sense of adding Tom Bombadil or insisting Eomer was at Helms Deep, but I do want a more realistic Faramir and a more interesting Denethor. I'd also like the locations to look truer to the books. Stuff like that.

I personally think it'd do well as a TV series, just because of the sheer size of the story. I want Merry's intelligence acknowledged, Legolas' to be the silly one again, Gimli to be something more than comic relief, and for Glorfindel to exist.

I also wouldn't mind Tom Bombadil, but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one there *g*

I actually would like to see Tom Bombadil but mostly because I think the barrow-wights stuff would be awesome on screen. They kind of did Old Man Willow but that whole part of the book is really cool. Someone should do a short and put it out around Halloween.
