Wow, fuck those mods, honestly.

I agree completely with the first commenter. Not all love is romantic, and even if that were your intention with that line a) It's being made almost as an accusation by Clara rather than a confession of love from The Doctor, it sounds like and b) Like the first commenter said, gen fic can feature romantic pairings and still be gen.
