Re: You can relive the past ten years of your life

Eh. Most of the worst things I'd change involve trying to save my parents' lives. I think I might've been able to stop my dad dying the way he did, but probably not stop him dying, and if he'd lived he would've probably still been a danger to everyone around him, including me. I think maybe my mom would've lived a bit longer if she hadn't blamed herself for his death, but I spent over two decades trying to get her to stop drinking and telling her it would kill her, and her doctors and her friends and family that knew said the same, but she was suicidal practically her whole life. I guess I could change her retirement benefits so I'd get her pension when she died; it was only an option if she drew it for ten years or less, and I thought she'd live longer; she didn't even make it three years.

It's not like I'd be able to stop Resident Chump from being elected, so the only bright spot would involve memorizing a list of winning lotto jackpot numbers. And considering everyone in my family who didn't die of addiction died of cancer (unless they had both) I don't think I want to knock ten years off my life for that.
