I don't recognize her. Is she a show original character who doesn't exist in the books? Anyway though I doubt the social justice-obsessed tumblr fandom is a blip on the GoT writers' radar so lol

She's Lyanna Mormont and is a book! canon character and Jorah's first cousin.

She hasn't appeared directly in the books but have been mentioned on multiple occasions. Mormont women according to the lore are famous for being as strong and fierce as the men. The reason they are called Bears in the first place is that one of the Mormont matriarch is supposed to have had children with a bear.

The most significant thing she's done in the books (so far) is sending Stannis Baratheon serious hate mail. He basically ordered all the Northern to swear allegiance to him now that Robb is dead.

Lyanna was the only person who got back to him with a letter that says "Bear Island knows no king but the king in the North whose name is Stark."

So she's definitely one to keep an eye on in book!canon and not a D&D invention. Also at this point, she's older than or about the same age as book!Arya, so it's not inconceivable that she could be such a badass.
