I'm fine with Doctor Who being stupid and goofy and ridiculous and camp and cheap. Doctor Who isn't necessarily a good show, and that's OK. I enjoy it anyway, because I like big dumb nerd shows.

I don't like Doctor Who being a 5-year-long examination of Moffat feeling guilty about being a dick to people and trying to figure out whether the fact that he's smart justifies him being a dick to people and an endless supply of the exact same kind of angst.

Because ultimately, there are multiple different kinds of problems that something can have as a work of art. It's not a binary scale where you slide along from good on one end, to bad on the other.
