They are two bisexual women in a same sex relationship.


As much as I love the show and loved the pairing as fanon (not expecting canon confirmation), I think the show could have done this better. People say the clues were there all the time, but my argument is that we didn't have enough time to realize the clues and marinate in the possibilities. Once we got to the end, a lot happened really fast.

So in my opinion, the reason it seems so fast is because as an audience it happened so fast for us.

But as a bi lover of the pairing, I'm still satisfied with the ending.

You put it the most elegantly out of everyone here.

I loved the cause and the message that the creators were conveying by that pairing. What made me the most upset about it was the lack of hints and clues. The pacing of the whole series was off and it didn't do any justice to the story, least of all the final pairing.

Though in all honesty I was more concerned with what a douche Mako turned out to be and the way Korra and Asami acted with him.
