Hmm, Anne McCaffrey's dragon/fire lizard books come to mind.

As a woman, I guess it'd probably suck, but I assume I'd be that Mary Sue, what's-her-name, Menoly or something. I legit want a fire lizard. I'm pretty sure they are just scaly ferrets.

This would be me too, although I wanted to be a dragonrider and I don't think I'd hack it.

NAYRT--Yeah, I think I'd be less creeped out by random dragon-influenced sex and more airsick all the time, or possibly just trying not to puke when the dragon was busy eating something bloody and struggling. The dragons in Jane Yolen's Dragon's Blood series ate plants, at least, but they thought in pictures, not words. Also people ate them.

I'd be terrified of being a dragon rider. I'd probably get a green and then I'd have to lock myself in a closet when she did her mating flight.

Fire lizard flock for life!
