In a Facebook ad Walmart seemed to want to sell me an empty egg carton for $40. It turned out it was a case of 150 egg cartons but I don't why the hell they would advertise that to random consumers either.

I think I've heard of people using them as sound dampeners. Are you a musician or a vocal recordings artist or hobbyist of any kind?

No, nothing like that. I did order a water bottle on Amazon a while back that was sent from a homestead supply place so maybe I'm marked down somewhere as a farmer.
