Well, I suppose it's hard, because people do get attached to characters, but you've got to go into the show knowing they're not going to be around forever. I was sad we only got one season with Nine, and I'm going to be heartbroken when Ten leaves, but hey, the Doctor regenerates. It's what happens. Companions come and go, too. And there's something to love about all of them. Plus... the episodes aren't going away, you can watch them multiple times. And isn't that what fanfiction is for? More stories we don't get to see? I hate to think what people will be like if the show ever ends again. Riots in the streets. And oh jeebus, don't get me started on old!Who/new!Who wank. x[ Can't we all just get along?
Hahaha, after reading this last part, my first thought was, "You did WHAT?!" LOL, your bravery is astounding. That's equal to drenching yourself with nitroglycerin in the middle of a room full of pyromaniacs with lighters.
