You can try for a modern harem style and choose things that are large and easy to wash, but still make a "treasure cave" like impression. Think easy-wash copies of oriental rugs- and middle-age tapestries, magic chandeliers made of pretty boxes and colored led-strips, low tables and glittering cushions, cabinets and chests in dark wood or paint with lots of small drawers (try your local antiques market), big, easy maintenance plants (go for the really tough ones that thrive without much sunlight and can stand out a dry period, like Monstera or Zamioculcas. Then add some pretty brass ornaments: figurines, lamps, candlesticks and the likes (keep it fire safe!) and you should be all set. Oh, wait: you need some exotic music too, something smooth and warm. I'm sure you can think of something. :)

SA Here's some illustrations that show what I'm thinking of. If you use vibrant colors, but don't clutter too much you can get the cave without the added "trash hippie":

That's actually nice looking, especially the first one. Not like that "let's ask the dragonkin about treasure room design" weirdness, lol!
