I might want to re-take certain creative writing courses, just because I liked having something there to "motivate" me to actually write stuff - and I'd probably produce better stories by now as well.

Mostly, I'd just like to do a different major entirely. Not sure what, though. Just something different, that I'm interested in, that could potentially land me a job in that field. (I have a BA in English, right now. The fact that there's literally an Avenue Q song about how un-useful that degree is should have been a sign...)

Oh, also, the majority of journalism/non-fiction writing classes I took. There were two guys who taught the bulk of journalism at my university, and they were about equally awful. Spent at least half of each lesson just talking about themselves, and their own personal lives and accomplishments and irrelevant opinions.

I work at a university, and this sounds like every journalism professor I've ever met. Communications faculty in general are the worst.
