Currently mostly-inactive fandoms you miss?
Are glad you don't have to deal with/hear about, anymore?
Wish you'd been there for, during the heyday?

The Dark Knight Rises because Bane/Blake was fantastic for my size kink.

I wish I'd been there when the Inception fandom was at its largest.

I really miss the Green Lantern: The Animated Series fandom. It was fairly small and drama free.

I'm glad most people are over The Raven Cycle because I was definitely sick of hearing about it. I am not a fan of Maggie Stiefvater's work.

I've not read any of her work yet, but she's on my list of authors I'll only buy works from secondhand.

She has a terrible reputation and seems like such an unpleasant person in general.

I'm not surprised that she's an unpleasant person. Her writing is very pretentious and her characters are bland and unlikeable. I've never hated a character like I hated the lead girl in her werewolf series.

I miss Legend of the Seeker fandom.
Maybe wish I'd been there when Stargate, Farscape, Star Trek Voyager, and Xena were actually active? Then again, enjoying the shows without actually knowing much about their fandoms (beyond which ships are popular) has also been okay.

My small corner in the Buffy fandom. There's some activity but it's on its last legs the last I checked it. I have mostly good memories of my time with it during its heyday so seeing it decline makes me sad.

I'm bummed I'm so damn late to the FFVII fandom.
I kind of miss the FMA fandom, from the pre-Brotherhood days. It had some good stuff, though I may also have some rose-tinted nostalgia lenses.

I'm glad Hetalia is no longer everywhere. Ugh, that fandom.

I've tried so hard to get into Brotherhood, but it just won't click for me. I have so many fond memories of the original series so it may be nostalgia goggles for me.

The Legacy of Kain fandom. I don't feel like it ever took off as well as it should have given the source material, and it's died a death with the lack of games. (Not counting the Nosgoth MMORPG, because fuck that) There are so many fantastic characters and stories to work with, but I feel it gets kind of overlooked.

I miss Genso Suikoden. I loved waiting for the games to come out, reading the news, anticipating the new story, etc, devouring the material and producing fanworks. That feeling of sharing your work with folks while also seeing what they came up with, doing exchanges and stuff.

Really, though, just looking at something new and getting excited about it with others, hoping all your expectations are met or exceeded.

I was five years late to Suikoden fandom, I caught it at the very tail end (Tierkris, ugh). I wish I'd been there for 3 and 4 instead of coming in after all the good fanworks were already old and people were ignoring the Fire Bringer and pirates in favor of Falena.

Yeah, it's weird. As much as I love the hell out of V, I felt most productive and engaged under III.

I miss Tales of the Abyss fandom, but honestly just the parts I hung out with because there was definitely a fair share of drama, haha. The Asch/Luke vs. Guy/Luke vs. Guy/Asch shippers were pretty much constantly at war, but since I didn't ship any of those I skipped out on a lot of it.

I just miss having anyone to talk about any of it with. Especially the Keterburgers.
