I have no idea who this is or the property he's in....

Josh Brolin playing Cable in Deadpool 2

Okay, so she recanted the charge, it never went to trial, and it happened clear back in 2004. Is there any statute of limitations on stuff like this, or is someone labeled a filthy abuser forever because of one questionable incident?

(Anonymous) 2017-08-20 09:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, everyone should obviously go by YOUR standards of when it's time to forgive and forget and not their own, so why don't you tell us how many years should go by before people pretend like bad stuff didn't happen?

NAYRT but this response is awfully defensive when AYRT was merely asking if we're supposed to blackball someone forever when in this instance it seems like there's no concrete evidence that he was abusive in that case, nor that it's happened since then.

Fair enough, but whenever someone starts up about "statue of limitations" for when a celebrity's past history should be forgotten, it's usually with the implication that other people are somehow holding that celebrity's actions against them for too long.

"Filthy abuser forever based on one accusation and the absence of evidence" it is, then. Good to know.

(Anonymous) 2017-08-20 10:07 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL, yep, there it is.

So cute that you're LOLing at me over questioning his status as an "abuser" when I bet you voted for a woman who stays married to a rapist...

(Anonymous) 2017-08-21 06:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Voting for a woman who's married to at best a cheater who's rape allegations have never been proven, as opposed to voting for a orange despot who openly admitted to a reporter he could grab any woman's privates anytime he wanted to against her consent? You bet your ass I voted for her.

This.
