It was cloudy and rained here today, so we missed being able to witness it in my area :(.

I hear ya! I missed out on the 1979 one, due to clouds and rain, and am still a little peeved about it. And then there was the 1986 appearance of Halley's comet - Earth had the worst viewing experience in 2000 years due to the comet's trajectory. My life is a history of celestial misses. ;)

It sounded like it was cloudy in a lot of places. The CNN feed from Nashville was just clouds, and the NASA feed from SC looked overcast. I watched the NASA feed from Nebraska (lost track of time and missed the one from Oregon) and that was broken clouds.
