I'm a bit of a literary snob. I am 100% down with people enjoying things that are not "good", but boy do I get snippy (internally if not externally) when people praise books as being "good" when the books are nothing of the sort. Like praising the writing, or worldbuilding, or plot development.
Most books are not actually all that good; doesn't make them less enjoyable, though.

I am the exact same way. I don't judge people for the types of books they favor, but I do take issue with it when people can't/won't/don't differentiate between "delicious bit of pulp" and "give it the booker/pulitzer/governor generals!"
