Ordering at a counter (like at fast food joints). It's awful. Drive-thrus are okay, restaurants are okay, but man.... put a line behind me and I freak.

it doesn't give me anxiety but it pisses me off when you go into a restaurant by yourself and you tell them you're by yourself and they go "JUST ONE??" in that loud whiny voice like they think you're pathetic.

Oh yeah. Especially places where you go alone, like cafes/fast food/sandwich shops during my lunch break. I basically never try anything new. The worst are the assembly line type places, like Subway (not actually Subway, but others like it) where you make it there and then, and you go in for the first time in a busy line and you have no idea what anything is, and you feel rushed and embarrassed.

being around a little kid who's wearing those skates that just look like shoes. Little kids never get out of anybody's way anyway, I'm very uncoordinated anyway and if you bump into a little kid, even if it's the kid's fault, everyone reacts like you're a Nazi or something.

Thinking I might have accidentally cut in front of someone in a line-up.
Taking "the last" or "one of the last" of something at a buffet.
Hoping the car behind me doesn't hate me for driving too slow... when I'm actually going over the speed limit.

Basically, a lot of things that could result in some complete stranger behind me getting annoyed.

Spending money. It doesn't stop me from doing it, even from doing it too much, but I feel anxious about it because I'm in a lot of debt due to dental work.

This is going to make me sound like a total prying twat so please feel free to not answer, but can I ask what kind of stuff you had done/how much it cost? I've been putting off going recently because I know I need stuff done and it's going to cost an arm and a leg and have massive anxiety anyway, but I can't put it off forever. :(

No, it's fine! I had two bridges replaced which were $3000 each, and some crowns done for $1,000 each. Basically my top teeth were all worked on. Which is better than what happened to my bottom teeth, which are almost all gone. I was tempted to just have them pull the teeth and give me a denture but I have a lower denture I don't wear because it bothers me too much so I felt like it was important enough to spend the money. So unfortunately I don't have any good news about what it cost. The good news is that it didn't even hurt that much or take that long. I had over half of it in one visit. I hope things work out well for you!

Thank you for your response! I'm glad it all worked out for you, money aside. I know I'll be so much happier/more confident in how I look when it's done, but every time I try to go in I just freak out and find some reason to out it off for another week. I think what scares me the most is the idea that they may say that they just can't be fixed and I'll be stuck with them forever. :( I legit have nightmares about this!

Right now, everything. I'm having random panic attacks for no reason or at least with no triggering cause that I can discover.

Being almost done with a project in time to actually finish it. Because what if it's not perfect? So I procrastinate a lot and have a ton of "done enough to be usable but not really finished" projects.

Also guys I'm attracted to and really handsome or beautiful people in general--some of the guys I'm attracted to aren't good looking and I'm not attracted to every good looking guy I see, but I still get nervous being around them.

Answering the door. Sorting through mail (unexpected bills are the worst.) Driving. Anyone walking behind me if there's no one else around.

Going to an establishment you aren't supposed to go often more than once a week, apparently.

I usually pick up my meds every three months, but there was a problem with my meds last time I went and I couldn't get them, so I had to get a recipe for another medicine and that was also out. In the end I went to the pharmacy like four times within a span of 1½ weeks. The last time I went and finally got the meds, I would have gone to a different pharmacy just because I didn't want to go to the same one, but it was closed.

Doctor/dentist appointments. Doing ANYTHING that is unfamiliar or not part of my usual routine, especially if it's by myself. Even with GPS and Googlemaps, I also hate driving somewhere new because I worry I'll get lost.
