it doesn't give me anxiety but it pisses me off when you go into a restaurant by yourself and you tell them you're by yourself and they go "JUST ONE??" in that loud whiny voice like they think you're pathetic.

Oh yeah. Especially places where you go alone, like cafes/fast food/sandwich shops during my lunch break. I basically never try anything new. The worst are the assembly line type places, like Subway (not actually Subway, but others like it) where you make it there and then, and you go in for the first time in a busy line and you have no idea what anything is, and you feel rushed and embarrassed.
