The job I really wanted has already been filled. So why was the position up on your website then? Argh.

I'm just a complete wreck right now. Sinus infection and sore throat, mental health issues, insomnia, just everything feels bad right now and I feel like I'm in a hole I can't get out of.

That sucks, I'm sorry. Employers who don't keep up-to-date with their vacancy information are the worst. On the bright side, if they can't even manage that, you're probably better off without them anyway.

Thanks. I see my doctor on Friday, so hopefully he can get all this stuff figured out. I got a temporary anxiety med at the ER, but I can only take it a couple times a day, and it only helps for a little while.

Not right now. I stopped a few years ago when I'd worked through stuff. I've been doing okay until just the past couple of weeks when all of a sudden I'm falling apart. I think it is probably a med issue given how suddenly it came on.

Yeah, it's weird how mental health stuff can sort of go into hiding for a bit and you think you're fine, then boom. I know it sucks. Hang in there, shit will get better. Have you got friends or family you can talk to about your problems if you need to?
