I don't find it offensive, no. There are very few words that are "offensive" to me. But I've only seen it used in terms of the kink, which, no, I don't find it offensive at all since I am a huge cumslut myself haha.

The way I've usually seen them used....

Slut - someone who has sex with lots of people
Cumslut - someone who is REALLY into cum (ingesting, getting stuffed with it, playing with it, etc.) Sort of the fluids-equivalent of a size queen.
