Fandom is going through a moral panic right now. And just like the moral panic of the eighties its caused innocent people to get accused , chased off, or even killed by being bullied to suicide. I only hope that it will end soon and hopefully fandom will learn from it.

And I only hope the people participating in the shit flinging will come to their senses soon and see what they're doing.

I hope that eventually they try it on someone who sues them. I thought John Green might when someone accused him of wanting to molest teenagers, but sadly he just left Tumblr instead.
