170. I've never read Abarat. Does that make me a bad Clive Barker fan? I prefer The Great and Secret Show and Coldheart Canyon to Weaveworld, although I did play Immacolata for a while.

Personally, since Abarat fanworks are all I ever see, I've grown sick of the books. I've read all of Barker's other works though. They're both pretty good, just skewed towards a younger audience...which, of course, is probably why everything in the Barker section is OMG!Candy/CarrionOTP4evah!!!

Coldheart Canyon is indeed awesome. (Katya Lupi has to be one of my all-time favorite horror villains.) I just listed Weaveworld for the secret, because it always seemed like it was just leaving the door wide open for fanworks (not that it's the only book like that!), and no one's ever taken it, as far as I know.

The only thing for Barker I've ever written was a short comic canon Hellraiser fic. He does leave a lot of opportunity, the sheer scale of Weaveworld's world, for instance, but the stories just don't leave me going, "I think I could fill in a gap there," the way some canons do.

I always look forward to new Barker, though.
