154. :\ I saw it as a romantic relationship that started as friendship but grew into something more.

159 & 173. I get that some see/enjoy their friendship, but what's wrong with the idea of them being a couple? Has nobody heard of opposites attracting? It happens in real life, so why is it not believable in a game? Oh well.. I like them as a couple, it's cute. It shows that you don't have to be some match-made in heaven couple to fall in love.

Opposites attracting is fine, it's when there's no chemistry that you have a problem. ^^;

(And personally, I'm icked out by it on a completely different level, but that one's a lot more meta.)

I thought they had plenty of chemistry. Plus I'm not really sure if people not in the relationship can tell the chemistry between two people.

... While it's true that you'd really have to be one of the people involved to really understand that person's complete POV, they're fictional characters. Their purpose, the purpose of their story, is to make visible to the reader how they feel and how they interact with each other. If you're going to take that tack, then we really might as well not have fiction. ^^;

Agreed. I didn't see much chemistry, either. :/ I saw the beginnings of it, but then it was just so rushed from there that there was no real room for it to properly develop.

Thank you. I was beginning to think I was the only one who thought they were believable. The development was there, just slow and subtle, and sped up when their connection was threatened - felt very natural to me. I love them as a couple, and y'know, sometimes it's nice to ship something that's cute, and sweet, and has a potential happily ever after.

And I still don't know why romantic love rules out friendly love, or why sex "cheapens" things. Granted, there are pairings that I like better as just friends, but there are just as many that I feel could work fine as friends, loves, and lovers. Can't you have them all? Can't your best friend also be the one you want to kiss and go to bed with at night?
