159. I used to view it that way...But uh D: Replaying it recently, I DO see how it works. Squall doesn't get won over by her instantly, it is a gradual thing and he fights it every step of the way. Rinoa's aggressive, but that's her charm I guess?
I don't see why it would make people gullible to ship it :/;; although I actually prefer them as friends too, I don't think less of people who ship them...

idk, I think it's pretty instantaneous. By the start of the third disc he's about 3/4 of the way there. And realistically, that's about...maybe five day's time max?

I'm sort of in limbo about that pairing. I hate how quickly it happened and actually wish they'd left it open at the end so people could ship them if they wanted and if not then they didn't have to. It would have been so much better than shoving it down everyones' throats, imo.

I find it odd that you refer to them as "bandoms" and not "bands" since you've met them. And I don't want to meet any of them—I don't care at all about meeting famous people.

Um, exactly WHY is that odd? They are still my bandoms. I can be in fandom for a band and not ship them.
Congratulations on not wanting to meet them, it doesn't change the fact they're real people. It's a big squick factor for me that it boils down to writing porn about someone with real friends and motivations and ambitions. srry lulz
