101. The only time I remember doing that is when I was seventeen, and suddenly the Romantic poets were GW pilots. Which didn’t make a lot of sense, since I’m sure I was out of that fandom by that time. But Duo was Keats, Wufei was Lord Byron (???) and Quatre was oh so Percy Shelley so hard it hurt.

It was actually fun picturing “her” late-Victorian outfits, and tried to reason out how “she” managed to become a medical doctor in 1878, AND serve in the war. *Sighs* I named the circa-1922 avatar you can create in the Penny Arcade video game after Watson, and designed her to look like the vision of the “female” Watson in my head. I can picture Watson as his manly self now, but feminizing my favorite male characters was a particularly bad habit in my youth.

I wonder if anyone else did this?

159. Trap? I totally bought their relationship. You know why? They were teenagers. Dumb, war-soldier teenagers that romantic myths would affect just like they did Seifer.

169. and 170.: Ok, that’s just tragic juxtaposition. Tragic.

173. 159 aside, that’s my view for almost all relationships involving teens or young adults. Even though I might like them a lot as characters, I don’t get invested in shipping them at all. The only couples I avidly “ship” right now, out of all works still being made/produced, are older, like Roslin/Adama and Michael/Holly.
