154: They don't have to be. It's simply a possibility.
The point with Anthy is that by the end of the anime she can choose what to do herself. She is no longer an object to be won, but her own person, someone who can pursue whatever she wants; it might be a relationship with Utena, it might not. It doesn't matter. It's that she now controls her own future that matters.
173: I'm still wondering what's so cheapening about sex. Sure, it could be - but in each and every one of these secrets it's between characters who care deeply for each other. I've got the impression that a frightening amount of people have a very unhealthy view of sex and sexuality.
Heh, and I don't even like this pairing.
NS8: We can only do one of them? Since when has shutting up about a problem just because there's a bigger still out there, ever been helpful? I mean, in that case we should just ignore everything else that's wrong in the world until we've achieved world peace, ended all starvation, water shortage and deadly epidemics. (Though I'm certain a lot of time would be wasted on finding out what truly is the worst problem.)
I've always thought that one should speak against what one thinks is wrong when one encounters it. Making "regular" people think actually does help.
