I'm not the OP of either of those secrets, but don't you think you're being slightly...abrasive? I think the main point of 173 was that the secret poster valued their friendship, but did not like the romantic aspect. In the VIII fandom, there seems to be two sides to the argument: those that love the romantic relationship and those that hate it. I think what the OP meant was that she loved the relationship between the two, just not the romantic part, which alienates her from the fandom, considering the majority of those that hate the relationship either hate the game or hate Rinoa and/or Squall.

I probably was, sorry. Reflex. So much of fandom out there just auto-hates the relationship, like 159, which is both ridiculous and giving way too much credit to Square. It gets tiring when you like the relationship. I suppose my comment should have been intended for just 159. 173 I still disagree with, but you're right, I was a bit too abrasive, there.

It's alright; don't worry about it. 159 is pretty ridiculous, and if I supported the couple I'd probably get a little irritated myself.
