Oh god, I'm so glad I'm not the only person who feels this way. Really, if that had been only for Haseo, it wouldn't have made sense--Haseo was perfectly capable of handling Taihaku on his own terms, and Endrance was fully aware of that. It was for himself too. Despite being...er, for lack of a better term, submissive to Haseo (and willfully, at that XD), he's a strong person with a lot of pride...well, at least as far as his online self is concerned. kjsfhgsfkj I could go on for hours, really XD;;

It's such a fantastic pairing *A* Though I seem to be in conflict with most of the rest of the fandom in that I prefer to see Haseo as the 'seme'(again for lack of a better term). XD;

*butting in* It's fascinating to see you go on, believe me, since a few of the other Endrance fans I've come across seem to focus solely on the ZOMG YAOI HOT BISHIE aspect of it and totally neglect the deeper aspects of their relationship that make it so much fun to play with.

Endrance is a very strong character, with an almost elegant arrogance to him, but around Haseo, I can see him preferring to bottom...except for the occasional time where Haseo goes off and does something stupid on his own without him.

*hi!* XD Well, not buttrape, but pin to a surface and kiss the crap out of him to make sure he's all right, in that sort of sense. Like a rare flare of dominance in a sea of submissive. Short-lived, but memorable when it happens XD;

I agree with you so much, and um, if you ever feel the inclination to friend me on your actual journal, you should totally do that

It makes more sense, since as you say, Endrance is quite willfully submissive. He doesn't want to overstep the mark, but he also wants Haseo to know that he's up for whatever Haseo wants, so he makes those coy comments like 'I surrender, so do with me as you will' and 'so you've come to like me this much...what do you plan to do with me?', and waits for them to be acted upon.
Haseo probably has more experience to work off anyway, and he's the type who likes to take the lead in things.

Plus, I think that means it's been long enough that I can use my actual journal. 8D; I'm glad I decided to randomly check on my anon-threads...is the offer for friending still open? I'm thrilled to make new friends, much less ones that love Haseo/Endrance~ XD

Exactly! It's not so much that Endrance is a stereotypical weepy uke or anything, but rather that he chooses (and seems to prefer, at least with Haseo XD) to be submissive.
And experience or no, I think Haseo would actually really appreciate Endrance letting him take the lead, since he has so little control over anything that's happening. XD

If you're missing something then I am too. Haseo is the type to bottle things up, not dissolve into fits of helpless emotion. When he does express himself, he's pretty brief and straightforward. Even with someone he loves, his personality isn't going to suddenly do a 180 - and frankly, I'm not sure why anyone would want it to.

Exaaaactly dsfjgfhs I'm glad you feel the same way. Hell, Endrance would probably be put off if Haseo changed so much. XD; I can see Haseo opening up a little, definitely, but I mean...he's a seventeen year old boy. Most seventeen year old boys are retards about their feelings in the first place. XD It'd probably take him forever to admit he loved *anyone*, much less another dude, much less Endrance. XDD And not to mention that he's just...the more assertive of the two of them to begin with.

Yeah, it's not like Endrance expects Haseo to match all his dramatic gestures of Twue Wuv; so long as the feelings are there and expressed somehow, however subtly, he'll be happy.
No kidding about the 'forever' part. In the storyline I'm RPing right now, it took two solid months (our time, not theirs, starting out from //Returner) to get Haseo's feelings out in the open. And it wasn't exactly a romantic confession.

Haseo [complaining about a RL event]: Some of them wanted to set me up with this one girl. It would've been too much of a pain to say I already like someone, so I just left early.
Endrance: Oh. Too much of a pain... then, you do like someone?
Haseo: Um, yeah. You're someone, aren't you?

He then breezed right on to talking about the battle arena, while Endrance was in a state of 'HEY WAIT WHAT OMG ' XD;; (Haseo thought it was all obvious already, since his attitude to Endrance's advances had switched from 'uh, what?' to 'heh, I guess that's fine')

That sounds adorable. XD I bet it'll go similarly to that in the RP I'm doing. I'm not sure Haseo realizes the depth of Endrance's feelings even though they've met in real life and maybe sorta messed around a little 8D;, so the poor dense thing is just confused more than anything. XD I think he's really afraid to care about someone again after what happened with Shino, so he's hesitating. sjfkghfkd I can't even fully get into his head and I'm the one playing him. XD

Indeed. On the one hand, it's nice that he's so easy to please, but on the other it's sad that he'll treat breadcrumbs like a banquet.

We're just doing the first RL meeting now. My Haseo was okay with caring for someone again, but due to recent conflicts he's had to doubt that - but he also doesn't want to back off and make it seem like he's been leading Endrance on. So, uh, for the time being he's trying to act like everything's fine.

She does! Whenever an artist doesn't update for a while, I start worrying that they've lost interest in the fandom. And since my grasp of Japanese is awful, I can't even send an 'um hi random person here to say that you rock'-type email XD;;
