Language, for one. A lot of people at least have basic English skills. Also, America is pretty damn rich and there's also a lot of space.

But while america may be rich, it's not really to the betterment of it's citizens.

The rich institutions make money off of the fact that wages don't keep up with the cost of living.

I forget that we have a lot more space than a lot of European countries.
