It's true. I think that's what attracts me to this ship, specifically - because Levi's been fighting titans for so many years, lost so many people, and finally here comes Eren and things are changing. They contrast each other in interesting ways.

I think it's because in part older people come with more baggage. It's harder to step away, for many people.
But I agree with you, I love those discoveries, and wish we had more variety in terms of age and whatnot.

I had a thing I was working on, that featured a very diverse cast of characters discovering superpowers and having to save the world and all that (very diverse - each one was from a different country, the ages ranged from like 10 to sixties). Never found an artist for it, though, so I've kind of set it aside.
