Well, that's fine. If you want to ship, go for it.

I'm just saying that your defense here doesn't really apply here. And no, it's not a matter of being "more" realistic. It's realistic. I've know a shitload of teenage boys who were like this.

Again, you're not doing anything wrong here. It's just the standard defense doesn't really apply here is all I'm saying.

I can buy that aspect. I do think, like anon below said, the fact that this is a universe where 13 year olds can join the military says something about the health levels of this society.

But yeah, I don't ship it because it's "okay" or "not okay", I just like the dynamic. I'm actually less comfortable shipping modern-day AUs that preserve the age gap, because to me that does raise some weirdness that I can't wholly get behind.
