I love AUs that require world-building. Like 'in space' or 'post apocalypse' or things like that. Those are so fucking fun.

I also love a good 'no powers/no demons/no whatever' type of AU in 'verses where those exist. I think i like the 'find each other during a hard time/emergency and fall for each other' type of AUs best - i like there to be some action or danger.

I really don't like high school AUs much at all, they seem to be very cliche and a bit pointless. I very very very much dislike 'had a kid!' AUs where the kids are horribly precocious and precious and/or are actually supposed to be other characters just deaged. Yick.
