Drizzt Do'Urden, full name Drizzt Daermon N'a'shezbaernon. I just looked up how to spell that, and I discovered that he had a morally ambiguous love interest named Dahlia Sin'felle. Blech.

I'd bet it's something like Drizzle but really it should be D'd'z's'd'z''' and you basically just grunt out glottal stops or beat-box a snare if you discuss it in public

The story I heard about that was that the author had to quickly come up with a character and name and just threw something together and then when asked if he could spell that name he basically went "lol nope". Which I find kind of hilarious because it's not some pretentious "oh my, this name is so meaningful" thing and not knowing how to spell it isn't bad because the author himself couldn't do it either.

And his other main love interest is named Cattie-Brie and they both appear as NPCs in the Neverwinter MMO and every time I come across her my brain goes "Ah yes, the cheese-lady".
